Grape Ranch Golf Course in Palo Cedro CA. (formerly known as Palo Cedro Golf Course) is located 10 minutes east of Redding CA. It's a terrific layout and includes 9 holes of golf & the spectacular views of Mt. Lassen are a great bonus.

Grape Ranch Golf Club is one of best par 36, nine hole golf course layouts in the area. It was originally opened in 1992 as Palo Cedro Golf Course. The fairways are Bermuda and greens are Bent Grass. Occasional bunkers greenside throughout the course and water comes into play on the first three holes with #2 particularly interesting. The short par 4 tempts the longer hitters but water protects the front right half of the green plus the entire right side of the fairway.
The golf course has holes fronting on Cow Creek and is part of a development that includes homes in the community. The homes were mostly built within 10 years of it's 1992 opening are set well back away from most holes. The Golf Course is Semi-Private and has quite a following partially due to its location being in Palo Cedro.

The green at #1
#3 tee, a par 3 where the green is protected front and right with a pond.
Hole #5 looking back at the tee. A long par 5 with water & trees protecting the green, left is OB the entire length of the hole
The tee shot on the par 3 hole number 6 is a daunting one, a long slightly uphill par 3 usually plays into the prevailing wind. Cow Creek is just off to the left.
Hole #7 a slight dogleg right par 4 with a hazard and homes on the right.
The green at Hole 9, a very good and challenging dogleg left par 5.
